Rev PAC's Army of Exit Pollers - Fact and Fiction

The Press Release: Post Nevada Turmoil, Ron Paul Super PAC to Amass Exit Polling Army

Revolution PAC secures national research firm to safeguard the Republican Primary vote. Amid allegations of election fraud and disenfranchisement surrounding Saturday’s Nevada Caucuses, grassroots-inspired Revolution PAC is embarking on an independent effort to help ensure that each and every vote is properly tabulated in future Republican Primary contests.

“Revolution PAC finds the litany of dissimilarities surrounding several ballot counts, suspect state party resignations, voters being asked to sign ‘religious declarations,’ in addition to precinct totals outnumbering actual registered voters documented by county election officials to be outrageous, unacceptable and patently un-American,” explains Revolution PAC Chair Gary Franchi.

Revolution PAC, aided by a nationally recognized research firm with more than 60 years of experience in the political process, will have boots on the ground in several of the upcoming states prior to Super Tuesday March 6 serving in both poll watching and exit polling capacities. “Going forward,” continues Franchi, “we will be ready to take immediate action and challenge any irregularties.”

 The Reality:

Time to put an end to the Rev PAC scam.

#7 - Is Rev PAC good for Ron Paul?

As we have covered so far:

- Rev PAC is run by a 911 Truther
- Its main source of funding is the same source of funding as the campaign - small donors
- The money that doesn't go back to the owner's pocket is spent preaching to the choir: Internet news broadcasts, and talking plastic dolls.  These make the Ron Paul community look foolish.  Like fanboys.
- The ads are nice, but they don't air them.  They have raised over $500K, so they have enough money, if they wanted to.
- What do you think?

Is this the reason large donors are staying away from donating to the Revolution PAC?

#6 - Rev PAC Million Dollar Money bomb

Rev Pac is going to have a million dollar money bomb this Saturday.  Will they raise $1million?  Highly unlikely.  This is another example of unrealistic hype, which is a pattern.  But more importantly, if they do -- or with whatever they do raise -- what will they do with the money?

The track record so far isn't good.  Just a lot of spinning and spinning, like a dog chasing its own tail.

Year End Accounting, according to the FEC, can be found at this link:

#5 - Ads that never air

REV PAC has produced some nice ads, but they never put them on TV.  An examination of expenses

http://query.nictusa.com/cgi-bin/dcdev/forms/C00499335/764553/sb/ALL

Reveals many payments to Google and Facebook for advertising (to raise more money), but no indication of payments to run the commercials they produced.

But many payments going back to the owner of the PAC:

In the end, what is the PAC really doing?

#4 - Fake Newsbroadcasts and Talking Dolls

The Revolution PAC is a hype machine.  Always lots of hype, but rarely much follow through.  Some of the accomplishments include pep rallies / circle jerks disguised as fake newscasts.  Another is a $100 plastic talking Ron Paul doll.

Is this a reason that big donors are staying away?  Is there a lack of seriousness about the Revolution PAC?  Are they in it to win for Dr. Paul, or just to make money for themselves?

#3 - Revolution PAC's true mission - 911 Truth?

Gary Franchi is a well known 911 Truther. That is well known to Ron Paul supporters, and those who travel in such circles. Finally the MSM picked up on it in this article from MSNBC.

 http://openchannel.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/02/09/10358155-super-pac-supporting-ron-paul-is-operated-by-a-911-truther

When Gary Franchi went to go talk about on the Alex Jones show, the first thing Gary said iwth glee, "I wonder what took them so long..."

He also said that he was 'proud' of the fact that a Pulizter Prize winning jornalist was looking into his 'work.'  His obvious joy at the attention makes one wonder - what is the true mission of the PAC?  Is it to promote Ron Paul, or to use Ron Paul to promote 911 Truth?

#2 - Self Dealing of the founders

FRom the beginning, the REvolution PAC was set up as a self - dealing operation. Here you see that the website promotes the PAC's owner's social network, Gary Franchi's RTR.org. In the "get connected" section of the site, we see teh usual social media outlets - YOuTube, Twitter, Facebook and ... RTR! Who has every heard of that before? Now you have. You'll hear more about it later. Tom Woods used the PAC to sell his books. The Ron Paul Film people used it to distribute their films. Was the PAC set up to Support Ron Paul, or the founders of the PAC? One cannot serve two masters.

#1 - The Revolution Mini PAC

Rev PAC started out with such promise.  REmember this?

"Election 2012 just got interesting."  It did, but not because of REV PAC. All that hype, and all those unfulfilled expecations.  Tom Woods as chairman!

But not quite a super PAC, it has been more like a mini PAC.  Peter Theil recently donated $1.7 to a REAL super PAC - Endorse Liberty, while Revolution PAC has been unable to attract big donors.

As a result, Rev PAC has gone after small donors - the same ones who are funding Ron Paul's campaign for president.

Why are big donors staying away?   This is the question that this blog intends to anser.  If you have ideas , please let us know.
